Berger Straße
Whether you want to shop in small boutiques, have a relaxed coffee or a drink in a fancy bar – in the Berger Straße all of this can easily be combined.

Leipziger Straße
The Leipziger Straße extends through the district Bockenheim. With many shops, bars and restaurants, the street is an oasis of tranquillity compared to the Zeil in the city centre.

One of the largest parks in Frankfurt, located next to the Palmengarten. The large green areas are perfect for barbecues in the summer. It’s also the perfect place for jogging or cycling to the university.

Whether on foot, by bike or by boat: the Main's riverbank offers a lot all year round. Small bars, kebabs from a boat or just bring your own cider and a blanket – this is where Frankfurt meets.

Every Friday the whole of Frankfurt meets at the Friedberger Platz for a glass of wine or beer. Famous for its kiosks with many chairs and benches, Frankfurt invites its residents and visitors to move from place to place.

This downtown street is a paradise for all shopping enthusiasts. From low-priced fashion stores to the big brands – there's everything your heart desires.

If you enjoy cooking, there is plenty of inspiration to be found at the Kleinmarkthalle, a large indoor food market which is famous throughout the Rhein-Main region. 

The centre of Frankfurt for more than 1,000 years – this is where locals and visitors from all over the world come together.

The zoo is situated right in the heart of the city, so you can get up-close and personal with animals from distant continents without having to travel far.
